This Privacy Policy explains how Indulf Energy Systems ("INDULF", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use indulf.com (the "Site"), submit an enquiry or request for quotation, download material, or otherwise communicate with us.
We act as the data fiduciary for the personal data described here, and process it in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.

This Policy covers personal data collected through the Site and through business communications that begin on the Site. It does not cover data you provide to third parties whose sites we link to, or personal data processed under a separate contract where you determine the purpose of processing.
Most information we handle is business contact information given to us in a professional capacity.

- Project and technical details you include in an enquiry: ratings, quantities, specifications, site conditions, standards, timelines, drawings, tender documents, or other attachments
- Correspondence with our sales, engineering, and support teams
- Any details you enter into a calculator, form, or download request
Information collected automatically
- IP address, approximate location derived from it, device type, browser, and operating system
- Pages visited, referring URL, search terms that led you here, time on page, and interaction events
- Cookie and similar identifiers, subject to Section 6
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data, financial account details, or government identifiers through the Site. Please do not submit them through Site forms.

Why we use it
We use personal data to:
- respond to enquiries and prepare quotations, offers, and technical proposals;
- engineer, source, and deliver equipment and services, and manage orders, logistics, documentation, and after-sales support;
- maintain records of correspondence, offers, and transactions;
- send technical, product, or company updates where you have asked for them or where they relate to an existing business relationship;
- operate, secure, and improve the Site, including diagnosing faults and analysing usage;
- comply with legal, tax, export, customs, and regulatory obligations;

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use enquiry data for automated decision-making that produces legal effects.

As we serve customers and work with partners internationally, personal data may be accessed or processed outside India. Where this occurs, we take appropriate steps to protect personal data in accordance with applicable law.

We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy, including maintaining records of enquiries, offers, orders, and correspondence, and for as long as required to comply with legal, tax, warranty, contractual, or regulatory obligations, or to establish or defend legal claims.
Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the data and the purpose it serves. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Where a personal data breach occurs, we will notify affected individuals and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.
