Overview

Epoxy Insulators for Switchgear & Power Distribution

INDULF manufactures epoxy insulators for switchgear, transformers, busbar systems, and electrical distribution equipment, providing dependable electrical insulation while supporting conductors and live components under demanding operating conditions. Designed for HT and LT applications, our support insulators and post insulators are engineered to deliver the mechanical strength, dimensional accuracy, and dielectric performance required for modern power systems.

Manufactured using Automatic Pressure Gelation (APG) casting, each insulator is produced from high-performance hydrophobic epoxy resin that offers excellent resistance to moisture, surface tracking, thermal ageing, and environmental stress. This ensures long-term insulation reliability in industrial, utility, and coastal installations where electrical performance is critical.

Embedded metal inserts, including threaded studs, mounting bases, and conductor fixing points, are precisely positioned during the casting process to achieve secure fitment and consistent assembly. Every component is manufactured to match the required mounting pattern, conductor spacing, and mechanical load, minimizing installation adjustments and ensuring compatibility with the intended equipment.

Alongside standard designs, INDULF manufactures custom epoxy insulators from engineering drawings, technical specifications, or existing samples. With in-house tooling and mold development, we produce non-standard profiles, OEM replacement parts, and low-volume production runs while maintaining dimensional precision and consistent quality. Every epoxy insulator is manufactured under controlled processes and verified against applicable IS and IEC standards to ensure reliable performance throughout its service life.
